This year, a total of 147.1 lbs. in food, paper products & baby items was collected in March and April for the MN FoodShare campaign. Monetary donations totaled $2,171.00!
We donated the items to Delano Helping Hands Food Shelf, WeCan, Westonka Food Shelf, and IOCP. Checks in the amount of $542.75 were given to each of the food shelves from our church members generous donations and fundraising efforts with Art2Heart. The Calvin Women’s Association agreed to match up to $1500 for the food drive, so an additional $375 was donated to each group, bringing the total to $917.75 given to each agency. Thanks to all who donated goods and/or funds to this campaign!
