Doug served Calvin as pastor for over 18 years (1977-1995). He and his wife, Lois moved from a double charge in Nebraska with their 3 daughters. Part of the time he served & beyond, Lois was organist (over 27 years!!!). Doug left Calvin to conclude his ministry as Chaplain at Presbyterian Homes on Lake Minnetonka. Calvin congregation honored Doug by giving him the title of Pastor Emeritus, which he greatly appreciated. He continues to guest preach at Calvin and perform other pastoral care duties when needed.
