Our practice at Calvin during Lent is to add to our daily lives with different spiritual practices during these weeks of Lent.
We gather each Wednesday for a soup supper and worship service. Alternating location weekly with First Presbyterian Church of Maple Plain. The meal is served by 6:00pm, with worship at 6:30pm, and you are on your way by 7:00pm.

April 7—Good Friday here at Calvin. (7pm)
Another Lenten tradition across the church and the centuries is extra giving opportunities. Together with the March MN FoodShare program, we collect for our local food shelves
The 42nd MN FOOD SHARE is in full swing and runs through April 9th. Our goal this year is to raise $2,000, plus 500 lbs of food. We will have a fundraising tracker posted to show our progress.
The most needed items are canned fruit, diced tomatoes, dried fruit, kid’s cereal, pasta sauce, paper towels, toilet paper & shampoo. You can drop these items off at the church in the Gathering Hall. Cash donations will also be accepted. Make your checks payable to Calvin Church and put “MN Food Share” in the memo portion of your check. You can also donate via Venmo @ Calvin-church. Donations will be divided between WeCan, Westonka, IOCP & Delano Helping Hands Food Shelves.
